Crafted for cruising in the Galapagos Islands, the Eric, Letty and Flamingo - Galapagos, are a fleet of three identical yachts. Cabin accommodations feature ten double occupancy cabins along three decks, each provided with double bed or two twin beds, a large closet, chest of drawers, lots of storage, in addition to climate control, intercom, and private bath/shower. Each yacht carries twenty passengers.
The Iguana Deck is the lowest deck at sea level, while the decks Booby and Dolphin Decks provide large cabin windows situated above the main deck. The yacht interior is furnished in polished teak. The ship is air conditioned throughout. The common areas include dining room,an ample bar, a conference/meeting room with TV, VCR and stereo as well as book- & video library for study and relaxation. The two upper decks offer picture windows with a spectacular view of the ocean and the bays and inlets of the Galapagos Islands The large sun deck is a great place to relax and catch a glimpse of the passing panorama of the Galapagos Islands archipelago.
Experienced captains as well as a crew of eight and and two certified and English-speaking naturalist guides man each yacht, attending to passengers and providing a seasoned and experienced Galapagos cruise experience. Naturalist guides - certified and trained in the Galapagos Islands - explore the islands in small groups of ten passengers each. Small rubber boats, known as pangas, carry passengers to shore for the Island visits. Check our schedule or ask for details on dates for family excursions.
