Our amazing adventure to Peru and Ecuador began last March when we were so fortunate to come across your website. The entire process with you and your company has been most enjoyable and little did we know that we were going to be in such professional and accommodating hands.
From the moment we landed in Lima we were looked after every step along the way, we were treated so well by everyone representing Stanford. Your guides and staff were exceptional, we must mention that Marco who guided us during our day in the Sacred Valley and during our city tour of Cusco was outstanding. He is very knowledgable, very accommodating, very funny and became a good friend. The hotels in Peru were truly magnificent and the staff at each and every one of them made us feel at home. We are grateful for your selection of hotels for us. First Class! The people of Peru in every sense of the word, were incredible. So warm and friendly and we must have heard a hundred times, “Thank you for visiting my country.”
When we arrived in Quito, we enjoyed a magnificent time on board the La Pinta with a night at the Finch Bay Resort on Santa Cruz. The La Pinta is an exceptional yacht and we were so blessed to be able to experience the incredible sights of the Galapagos in such grand fashion.
Because of the change, we were able to spend three days in Quito and took three excursions while there. A city tour, a day trip to Mindo and the cloud forest and a day trip to everyone’s favourite, Otavalo. We spent three days with the same guide, Joanna from your office in Quito. Joanna was a delight and we learned so much about Ecuador and Quito.
Thank you Stanford Travel Systesms for your service to us on our trip of a lifetime. We were looked after at every point in the itinerary with professionalism, kindness and enthusiasm. We would recommend you and you company to anyone and everyone, we could not possibly have received better service in every aspect of our journey.
Thank you so much and we hope to cross paths again down the road.
